Historycznie ewolucję nauki można opisać za pomocą czterech paradygmatów. Od obserwacji empirycznych, przechodząc przez teoretyczne modele potwierdzone eksperymentalnie, po. odkrycia naukowe opracowane z wykorzystaniem obliczeń cyfrowych i  dużej ilości danych. Jednak nadal skalowanie do większych problemów wymaga wprowadzenia uproszczen w samym modelu, z uwagi na ograniczone zasoby obliczeniowe, oraz trudności w pozyskaniu danych empirycznych, prowadząc do trudnego kompromisu między wydajnością a dokładnością.Wierzymy, że dzięki najnowszym osiągnięciom w dziedzinie uczenia maszynowego, głębokich sieci neuronowych i dostępu do znacznych zasobów obliczeniowych wchodzimy w fascynującą erę piątego paradygmatu. W tym podejściu powyższy kompromis może wreszcie zostać rozwiązany, ponieważ dane, których używamy do trenowania modelu, mogą pochodzić również z symulacji numerycznych, niejako emulując trudne do uzyskania dane empiryczne. Tradycyjne rozwiązania numeryczne mogą być teraz postrzegane jako symulatory złożonych procesów, które można wykorzystać do uczenia modeli pełniących niejako funkcję emulatorów, dostarczające predykcje złożonych procesów w dość krótkim czasie.Serdecznie zapraszamy na warsztat, gdzie przedstawimy najnowsze osiągnięcia w oparciu o rzeczywiste projekty ze świata przemysłu, materiałoznastwa i modelowania pogody. Piąty paradygmat nauki (Microsoft Azure)

Historycznie ewolucję nauki można opisać za pomocą czterech paradygmatów. Od obserwacji empirycznych, przechodząc przez teoretyczne modele potwierdzone eksperymentalnie, po. odkrycia naukowe opracowane z wykorzystaniem obliczeń cyfrowych i  dużej ilości danych. Jednak nadal skalowanie do większych problemów wymaga wprowadzenia uproszczen w samym modelu, z uwagi na ograniczone zasoby obliczeniowe, oraz trudności w pozyskaniu danych empirycznych, prowadząc do trudnego kompromisu między wydajnością a dokładnością.Wierzymy, że dzięki najnowszym osiągnięciom w dziedzinie uczenia maszynowego, głębokich sieci neuronowych i dostępu do znacznych zasobów obliczeniowych wchodzimy w fascynującą erę piątego paradygmatu. W tym podejściu powyższy kompromis może wreszcie zostać rozwiązany, ponieważ dane, których używamy do trenowania modelu, mogą pochodzić również z symulacji numerycznych, niejako emulując trudne do uzyskania dane empiryczne. Tradycyjne rozwiązania numeryczne mogą być teraz postrzegane jako symulatory złożonych procesów, które można wykorzystać do uczenia modeli pełniących niejako funkcję emulatorów, dostarczające predykcje złożonych procesów w dość krótkim czasie.Serdecznie zapraszamy na warsztat, gdzie przedstawimy najnowsze osiągnięcia w oparciu o rzeczywiste projekty ze świata przemysłu, materiałoznastwa i modelowania pogody.
