This session presents an opportunity to share experiences from successful sales engagements, sales meetings and product demonstrations.Technology Sales & Pre sales is not something you learn at school, study at University or a subject that is widely written about, yet successful organisations recognise the importance of investing on the sales experience. In this session we will share an overview of a typical sales engagement and how, with the right preparation, you can bring your solution to life in the eyes of the customer.We will cover:What does a successful sales engagement look likeHow to build a value proposition that people want to buyTips on storytelling & presentingReal life lessons from the field  ABOUT THE PRESENTERI am passionate about the role of technology in business model innovation and intelligent customer engagement. I have many years of experience in product management, development and delivery of complex applications and customer intelligence systems. As a product owner I was responsible for the development of a number of award-winning Financial Services platforms such as MergerMarket.com which was acquired by Pearson publishing for $192 million in 2006. In 2010 my product was awarded best in class CRM system from Buy Side Magazine.The "One Commercial Partner" technical team consists of Strategists, and Architects across our four solution areas:Modern WorkBusiness ApplicationsApplications & InfrastructureData & AII am active in the role of technology for disaster response and preparedness. In 2014 I was invited to the White House by the Obama administration to talk about the role of technology in such situations.
